Details of Havana city tour

• Meeting with guide at the lobby of Hotel Iberostar Parque Central at 8.45 am. Havana sightseeing tour departs from hotel at 9.00 am.
• Walking to the colonial-style former Presidental Palace and visit to the Museum of the Revolution. Here you can see objects related to the revolution and you can learn more about Cuba’s revolutionary history.
• We continue to the Conde de Villanueva where we can reveal the secrets of cigar making.
• Then we go to see the building of the Capitolio from the outside. It was the home of legislature.
• After that we walk to the Old Town and stop at the most important sights like Plaza de Armas, Obispo Street or Cathedral Square.
• We have our lunch at the Cathedral Square at the Restaurant El Patio.
• After lunch we continue walking to the harbour across the Old Town. On the way we can see the San Francisco de Asis Square and a small garden dedicated to Princess Diana and Mother Teresa.
• Then we visit Havana Club Rum Museum, where we can also taste the famous fine drink.
• We get into old timers and drive along the Malecón to reach the Morro fortress. From there we can admire the beautiful panorama of the city and the bay.
• From the fortress we continue along the beach promenade again that leads to Miramar, embassy district of Havana. Here we can have a look at the buildings of the embassies.
• The next stop is the Revolution Square. A stop is made here so you can walk around and see the José Martí memorial and the surrounding government buildings.
• From the square the old timer cars take us back to Hotel Iberostar Parque Central where the tour ends.
