Itinerary of the private Havana walking tour:

 

  • Meet the guide at the lobby of your hotel at the agreed time or at 09:00 am.
  • The private Havana walking tour starts from the famous Prado. First stop of the sightseeing tour is at the Capitolio, former house of legislation. (It is under reconstruction now and can not be entered.)
  • Tour continues with a visit at Partagas Fabrica Cigar Factory, where we can not only get information on the producing of the famous Cuban cigar, but we can also by some of the original cigars.
  • Then we can drink an icy Daiquiri cocktail at favourite bar of Hemingway, the world-famous Floridita.
  • Pedestrian street of Havana, Obispo takes us to Hotel Ambos Mundos , where we can see the former room of Hemingway. An exhibition of his things brings the writer closer to us.
  • We continue our walking tour to the Cathedral Square and we stop for a little rest at Bodeguita del Medio Bar. There we can taste the real, unique Cuban Mojito. It was another favourite bar of Hemingway in the '40s full of jazz and cigar smoke.
  • After tasting the best cocktails we can know more about the producing of their base, the rum. At Havana Club Rum Museum we can see the equipments of rum producing from the old times and also a beautiful plotting board. We can also taste 7-year-old rum here.
  • We can make these life time experiences unforgettable with a Cuban lunch at Restaurant La Dominica, located at the most beautiful square of Old Havana.
  • After the private Havana walking tour we return to hotel.

You can book the tour for any date. Please, send us the written booking at least 2 weeks before the requested date. Booking must be confirmed by us vía e-mail.

Price of the tour includes the following entrance fees: Ambos Mundos Hotel (Hemingway's room), Partagás Fábrica Cigar Factory, Havana Club Rum Museum.

The lunch menu includes the following dishes: appetizer (rosemary and garlic bread, salad), main course to choose (chicken with basil or pork fajitas with paprika and onion or roasted fish with lemon) with side dish (rice, black beans and stewed vegetables), dessert, coffee and a soft drink or a local drink. 

Price does not include transportation. Those clients, who are not staying at a hotel in the Old Town, will meet the guide at a pre-arranged place. Please, contact us about the details.
